Knuckle showed himself to save his master and due to his loyalty towards Morel he undid APR which was the initial plan to stop Youpi as it was their only chance to win.

Knuckle plead towards Youpi to let Morel escape and this is the reason why Knuckle undid APR as Morel was about to die.

Youpi did not honor his deal, but did not kill or fight anyone.

He is going towards the king and even advised Knuckle to get Morel to a doctor.

Morel is mad on Knuckle, but Knuckle explained why he did it.

Due to Youpi's acknowledging the hunters, Knuckle made his decision that he was not an enemy to be destroyed.
