~The Anima-Ture~

It starts of with a man being beaten up and he is watching up to a building as the scene turns to another man visiting a grave.

The next scene shows a girl being transported to a hospital but they do not know the cause of her condition.

Suddenly the scene changes and the boy and girl that were at the hospital were outside.

The girl was ditching class and was afraid her friends from the gaming research club would be mad at her because it got locked down.
A fellow club member has not regained consciousness like she did and that made them close the club.

She was talking about a sound which the boy did not understand.

The girl called Mai, went home and she seems to adore the violin and starts dozing off as she puts on a track.
She recalls what happened and she never played a game and her friend that is still in an unknown condition, taught her about a game.
A weird sound suddenly woke her up as the phone rang.

She seems to be afraid of the sound.

The next day she is walking towards school and everyone just looks at her and the man that was being beaten up at the start went to talk with her.
She didn't want to talk as was startled when he asked if she was playing a game when she fainted and ran off.

As she arrives at her classroom it got awkwardly silent and everyone was looking at her in a questioning way.

She went back to the club that was closed and the man suddenly showed up asking her if she wanted to know why she fell unconscious by playing the game called 'the world'.

The club president got on scene and made him leave and talked to Mai.
They were talking about the world and he was asking if it had to do something with it, which she couldn't answer as she does not know the answer either.

The girl is researching who the man is that spoke to her and found out what his job was.

she stormed out to the streets and met the cocky girl that every school has.
She phoned the club president about this man and he could hardly believe it.

However, the next morning he called the company behind the game 'the world' and he found out that the man is no longer part of the foundation.
He told the news to Mai and also told her to not stop playing the violin even when she quits music class.

Mai was on her visit with the doctor and she told him she thinks the game has something to do with it but he said it was absurd as the game is sold over twenty million times.

He was tapping with his pen and she started paying attention on that and that sound appeared every time he taped with his pen.

She went to visit her friend that was still in a coma and the man from the start was also there to her surprise and he told her it could be possible that the game caused all of this.
Due to a little bickering the boy started to react and the man was going in on this as if he was still in the game fighting something.

Mai then agreed to help him to find the cause of all these conditions.

After they went to check up on her gameplay history and such he got locked out and he was wondering why she was the only one that was able to come back.

She tried to run but he held her arm and asked her again and she still replied that she didn't know.

We get to see a flashback when she was sleeping from a little girl in the game as she woke up.
As an musician she was looking for this sound and she found it.

Mai and the club president started talking about the game again about the strongest players in the game and eventually started talking about Tomonari (the friend that is still in a coma) what if he would not awake from his coma.
The club president vowed to not let such a thing happen and would make sure to get him back.
He felt responsible since he was the one that introduced him to the world.

Mai decided to call Tokuoka ( the man who wants her help and that got beaten up) and he asked her if they could do the next session in the clubhouse as he was enjoying an ice cream in a hot spring.

Mai started recalling some more memories with Tomonari that it seemed he was trying to kiss her.
It was quite funny that he said he wouldn't try it again but quickly after that added 'for now' and apologized again.
It was also this moment that Mai got introduced to the world by Tomonari.

She spoke with the club president again and he was warning her that Tokuoka was up to no good and she left because she did not want to talk about it anymore.

She got home and her mother wanted to talk to her about her music classes.
She was mad at her because she gave up on the classes but she didn't want to quit playing the violin because she loves it.

The mother was hoping for her to become a soloist but Mai just wants to play it for fun which her mother could not understand and wanted to throw the violin away.

Standing out in the rain she met up with Tokuoka to go into the clubroom for checking what happened in the world.

The club president who is at the hospital with Tomonari and recalled some memories that Tomonari said he asked Mai if she wanted to go out with him.
The club president said that she was probably afraid to turn him down because she would be picked on again.
Tomonari corrected that argument with 'a boy's way of affection'.

Back to Mai and Tokuoka breaking into the clubhouse and he used the same catchphrase as Tomonari 'for reals'.
Mai asked him to not say that again and he didn't even bothered to ask why.

Tokuoka figured that they had to connect to the world and asked her if she was sure to do this.
She was fully confident because she had the sound to rely on.

When they were connected, Mai heard that sound again but Tokuoka couldn't hear it and Mai said to run.
She could hear it and that girl from her flashback was showing up and she threw off the virtual headset.

Tokuoka however, was still playing as he was already caught by the sound and Mai destroyed the computer.

For some reason Mai knows that Tokuoka would be regaining consciousness real soon and that the world is not just a game.

The club president was standing there wondering what was happening but still could not understand a thing.

*additional comments on episode 1*

The episode is 44 minutes long but in just 15 or 20 minutes time i have heard about 4 or 5 soundtracks which is darn annoying.
Dialogues are a bit sketchy and not many people get to say something but oh well, it is the first episode.
